Lifestyle health to complement your management of INOCA / ANOCA patients

Ischemia with non-obstructed coronary arteries (INOCA) and the associated angina (ANOCA) can bring unique challenges for patient management. Our programs are designed to complement medical care for patients with coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) - providing participants with structured and tailored lifestyle health practices. This includes resources and support along their health journey.(8)(13)

  • Evidence-informed lifestyle health modalities

  • Education and practices that complement medical management

  • Structured support and community for positive health changes

  • Clear communication that we do not replace medical care

More About the Vitality-CMD Program

Evidence-informed, tailored practices, hybrid delivery.

Evidence Base Every modality in Vitality-CMD is grounded in peer-reviewed research, drawing on studies published in journals including Circulation, European Heart Journal, and JACC. Our program addresses key physiological domains — autonomic regulation, vascular function, sleep, breathing mechanics, and movement — each supported by evidence relevant to microvascular and cardiovascular health. The scientific literature underpins the program.

Physician Clearance Required No participant enters the program without documented clearance from their cardiologist or GP. Safety is non-negotiable.

Scope of Practice Novara provides lifestyle health programs only with a combination of in-person and virtual delivery. We do not diagnose, treat, or manage CMD medically. We support medical practitioners - and welcome communication with referring physicians.

Patient Population Women with confirmed or suspected CMD, INOCA, or chest pain syndromes with non-obstructive coronary arteries. HFpEF patients with CMD. Pre- or non-cardiac-rehab candidates.

Have Patients Who May Benefit? If you have patients with CMD, who could benefit from structured lifestyle optimisation and support, we welcome the opportunity to discuss ways our programs can complement care management or you can refer directly below.
