Ciarán Byrne — where science meets purpose

Ciarán's career has been built at the intersection of physiology, vascular medicine, and human behaviour change. Over more than two decades, he worked inside some of the world's leading medical device companies - including Abbott and Cook Medical - where he helped bring life-saving vascular technologies to patients across the US, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Latin America.

That experience gave him an unusually deep understanding of the evidence base, the clinical world, and critically, where gaps in care exist. CMD is one of the most significant of those gaps.

Ciarán holds a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science, an MSc in Physiology/Biomedical Science, and an MSc in Applied Sport & Exercise Psychology — a rare combination that underpins Novara's whole-person approach to microvascular health. He is also a Certified Advanced Instructor in the Oxygen Advantage™ respiratory physiology method, one of the core modalities in the Vitality-CMD program.
